In 2010, John Rossant founded the NewCities Foundation. He believes it is imperative that different stakeholders work together to improve the quality of life and work in 21st century global cities.
Olivia is Director of Research and Events for NewCities. In this role she has dual-responsibilities; directing the research ventures, including fellowships and pilot projects of the Foundation, as well as the design and management of the thought-leadership events and workshops that discuss and disseminate best practices in urban development.
Stéphanie Grandperret acts as the Director of Finance and Administration for NewCities for over 4 years. She holds a degree in finance and audit from ESG Paris. Previously she worked for Publicis Groupe as finance associate.
Timothy grew up in Paris, and after obtaining his BA in History and Politics at the University of York in England, he spent two years working in Spain and London. He then studied for a research degree at the University of Oxford.
Manon has graduated from McGill University in February 2015 after completing a Bachelor of Arts in Political Sciences and International Development. Her interest in urban development and her experience in event management led her to join NewCities in September 2015.
Rachel joined NewCities in September 2013, following the completion of a Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design Communication at Chelsea College of Art, the University of the Arts, London.
Adam joined NewCities in 2015 as research coordinator, working to help initiate and support the Foundation’s research and pilot projects at all scales.
Born in the Azores of Portugal and raised in Montréal, Andreia joined NewCities in 2017 as Communications Coordinator. In this role, she puts her creative mind to work to raise NewCities profile through the media.
Esther joined NewCities as Executive Administrative Assistant in early 2017. In this role, she provides administrative support to the Chairman, the Executive Director and the General Manager for Advancement & Partnerships.
