Ms. Hurlock is LEED, AP certified by the U.S. Green Building Council, holds a Master’s of Architecture, a Master’s of Business Administration, and Bachelor’s of Science in Architectural Studies all from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
Angela Hurlock formerly held the position of Executive Director at Claretian Associates. For 28 years Claretian has developed affordable housing in South Chicago for low- and moderate-income families. She now chairs the board of CHA commissioners.
Throughout her career in development, Hurlock has worked directly with families as well as helped establish affordable, transit-oriented housing.
