Prof Greg Clark CBE is Global Head of Future Cities and New Industries at HSBC Group. He works with HSBC’s global client base in 63 countries and 300 cities on the business and investment opportunities of the century of cities, accompanied by the 4th Industrial Revolution, and the Climate Emergency. Alongside his work at HSBC Greg is Chairman of the Connected Places Catapult, a Board Member of Transport for London and chairs its Investment Committee. He is Hon Prof in Urban Innovation at University College London (UCL) and Strathclyde Universities. He is the founder of The Business of Cities, an urban analytics group based at UCL. Greg is a Global Fellow at Brookings Institution, Senior Fellow at the Urban Land Institute and a Fellow of the Academy of Social Sciences. Greg is global cities expert on the BBC World Services series, My Perfect City.
