Three Harvard Design Graduates Commence Impact KAEC Fellowship in Saudi Arabia
This week, three bright young graduates from Harvard University’s Graduate School of Design arrive in King Abdullah Economic City (KAEC), Saudi Arabia, to commence an intense five months of work and research.
The three Fellows – Heidi Cho, Edward Meng and Tiffany Obser – are the first graduates to embark upon the Impact KAEC Fellowship, a new part of our Cityquest initiative to shape the future of brand new cities globally.
KAEC is a major new city being built on the shores of Red Sea in Saudi Arabia, and host city of our Cityquest – KAEC Forum.
The Impact KAEC Fellows will spend a total of five months living and working in KAEC to implement different urban initiatives. They will also lead a group initiative that contributes to KAEC’s urban development. We designed the Fellowship as a unique opportunity for top international graduates to gain on-the-ground work experience in one of the most ambitious new city projects in the world.
