Ms. Rubal Agarwal is presently holding position of Additional Municipal Commissioner at Pune Municipal Corporation & having additional charge Chief Executive Officer, Shri Saibaba Sansthan Trust, Shirdi. She has been working in the State of Maharashtra since 2008 and has served across various cities of Maharashtra. She started her professional career as Assistant Collector in Akola during her IAS probationer period. Ms. Agarwal has worked as SDM in Kurduwadi-Solapur, CEO-Zila Panchayat Ahmednagar and also served as district collector Ahmednagar & Jalgaon. Ms. Roubal was collector at Jalgaon from year 2014-17. Before joining PMC, she was holding the position of Chief Executive Officer, Shri Saibaba Sansthan Trust, Shirdi. This was the first time in the Sansthan’s history that an IAS officer holds the Post as CEO. Her aim as a CEO was to bring the motion in the administration of Shirdi Sai Sansthan and transparency in it works, as well as enrich the Centenary Ceremonies of Shri Sai Samadhi Successfully. She completed her Bachelor Degree in Economics.

Presently she is managing various departments at Pune Municipal Corporation. Her main responsibilities to plan, implement and manage services for providing basic civic services for the citizens like health, Education, Garden, property tax, Finance & account and Information Technology.

She played pivotal role in implementing E-Governance initiatives in Shirdi by launching new version of mobile app “Saiababa Shirdi” which included live Sai baba darshan on mobile, booking of arti and darshan pass to reimagine Devotee Centric Activities at Shri Sai baba Sansthan trust. Also, she played key role in connecting Shirdi through Indian Railways. The initiative was to book Shri Sai Baba Darshan passes booking facility through irctc website during railway ticket booking.

During her tenure Shirdi sai hospital gets 3 –Tesla MRI machine for the benefit of the patient. She has worked for getting approval to provide 500 ambulance to each of the registered NGOS of Maharashtra working in the field of Health care/ Service of patients in order to provide urgent medical services to the needy patients in the rural & remote areas of State. She has driven “Clean Shirdi Green Shirdi” movement. Her continuous effort as a CEO of Shirdi Sai Sansthan has enhanced the recognition of Shirdi place in Global Map.

She received various accolades during her tenure as collector in Jalagon district mainly Mahatama Gandhi Peace Award (2015-16), Best Collector Award in the campaign of “Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao” (2016). Also she received Best Collector Award of Maharashtra Government in year 2016-17.

Additionally, during her tenure in Shirdi, Hon’ble President inaugurated the MahaSamadhi Centenary year celebrations in year 2017 and during the concluding ceremony Hon’ble Prime Minister has released silver coin & laid the foundation stone of various development works ( New Darshan queue shelter, Sai Education complex & sports center and Sai knowledge park) to mark Shri Sai Baba MahaSamadhi Centenary year celebrations in year 2018.

After joining Pune Municipal Corporation, she dedicatedly involved in the ongoing projects of E-Governance and Pune City won Smart City Digital Payment award 2018 in Best Digital Payment Adopter category and received the award by Hon’ble Minister, Ministry of Housing & Urban Affair, GoI.
