Principal and Founder, DLANDstudio, FASLA, AIA Associate Professor CU Boulder ENVD

Susannah C. Drake FASLA, AIA is the founding principal of DLANDstudio PLLC Architecture and Landscape Architecture and Associate Professor at the University of Colorado Boulder.
Using grants and fellowships to remake infrastructure for storm-water capture, climate adaptation, and park creation, Susannah became an established leader in urban resilience planning and design. Susannah’s theories, practice and implemented projects have earned significant recognition including NYAIA New Practices New York Award, AIA National Young Architect Awards, Chicago Athenaeum Award, and Architecture League Emerging Voices, as well as numerous City, State, National AIA and ASLA Design Awards.
As both a practitioner and educator she acts as critic and has directed design studio courses at Harvard, IIT, FIU, CCNY, Syracuse, Washington University, and the Cooper Union.
Her work is in the permanent collection of the Museum of Modern Art. Susannah received a BA from Dartmouth College and MArch/MLA degrees from the Harvard GSD.
