For the past ten years, NewCities has been committed to shaping a better urban future by curating and producing innovative content about the most important emerging urban trends through events, knowledge-sharing platforms, and actionable research.
COVID-19 is an unprecedented challenge for urban societies everywhere. As an institution convening key stakeholders of the urban ecosystem, NewCities is closely following recommendations of governing authorities wherever we operate, and we fully support governments and authorities in encouraging people to stay home and stay safe.
The NewCities team is monitoring the situation very closely and is committed to flatten the COVID-19 curve while keeping our audience, partners, members, and participants updated on the following NewCities events:

We want to thank our members and partners for the flexibility and support they’ve shown us in the past weeks. We have the opportunity to rethink how to enhance the future of urban planning. Accordingly, NewCities is launching The Big Rethink: Cities After COVID-19, an online 8-week series of live discussions bringing together leading global experts to examine the longer-term impacts of the COVID-19.
Debuting on April 7, 2020, the series will be led by host Greg Lindsay and the first episode will discuss the lasting impacts of pandemics on Public Space.
We invite you to register online.
Our team would love to hear from you if you have any questions or ideas! Get in touch now.
In the meantime, stay safe, stay positive, and stay in touch.
The NewCities Team.
