Undersecretary for Gender and Equality Policies of the Secretary for Women at the Mayor’s office of Bogotá 

Magistra in Political Studies from The Pontifical Xavierian University, Specialist in feminist and gender studies from Colombian National University and Graduate in psychology from The Externado University. 

Diana has more than 10 years of experience as a consultor, researcher and coordinator for projects with thematic related with the defence and guaranty of human rights for women and girls, gender and mainstreaming equality and care for people in a vulnerable position in organisations like United Nations Children’s Fund-UNICEF, International Organization for Migration-OIM, UN Women, Profamilia, Presidential Council for Women’s Equity and Ministry of Health and Social Protection.

Also, Diana has been a university teacher in Bogotá in pre-graduate and postgraduate programs. Diana has a dog called Marty. She enjoys running, working out, playing tennis, hiking and going to the cinema. Nowadays she works as Undersecretary for Gender and Equality Policies in the Secretary for Women at the Mayor’s office of Bogotá.
