Cécile Maisonneuve is President of La Fabrique de la Cité, which she joined in 2015, and a member of the scientific committee of the AMS Institute (Amsterdam Institute for Advanced Metropolitan Solutions).

She previously headed the Energy Center of l’Institut français des Relations Internationales (IFRI), where she is now a consultant. From 2007 to 2012, Cécile Maisonneuve held various positions within the AREVA group, in relation to international and European public affairs. Cécile began her career as a director of the National Assembly, where she worked successively for the Defense, Law, and Foreign Affairs commissions.

Former student of the Ecole Normale Supérieure, laureate of the Institute of Political Studies of Paris, Cécile also holds a Master 2 in history from the University Paris IV-Sorbonne. She also collaborated with the Foundation for Strategic Research and the Center for Strategic Studies and International Studies (CSIS). Cécile is the co-author of a biography on Benjamin Franklin (Perrin, 2008).

Former participant of the Programme des visiteurs internationaux (IVLP) of the State Department (2001), she is a member of the VoxFemina association for the promotion of women experts in the media.
