Hannah Presser is the Program Officer, Housing Technical Assistance at the International Rescue Committee (IRC). Hannah provides housing training and technical assistance to housing logistic and case management staff across the IRC’s 27 U.S. field offices to build staff capacity and to ensure housing stabilization for recently arrived refugees in the U.S. Hannah ensures that refugee housing practices are aligned with national, state, local, and donor requirements. Prior to her role at IRC, Hannah was striving to provide safe, decent, and affordable housing while working for a New York City affordable housing developer. Hannah aims to provide support and resources to populations left vulnerable to the global housing crisis and to provide solutions to bring about change in this sector. Hannah is pursuing her Master’s in International Affairs from Baruch College in New York City.
