Katie Vann studied Archaeology and Anthropology at the University of Cambridge, where she specialized in Social Anthropology for two years. Here she gained an interest in urban planning and grassroots solutions to urban problems. For her undergraduate dissertation, Katie conducted fieldwork in Wellington, New Zealand where she interviewed tattooists who specialize in Polynesian and Maori designs.
