General Coordinator, Lima Cómo Vamos

Born in Lima, Perú in 1981.
With Law studies she has a Master in Human Rights for Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú. Author of the thesis: “We all are pedestrians. A human rights approach for the urban mobility treatment in Metropolitan Lima” with outstanding grade (the highest grade).
She worked in Transparencia, a civil association dedicated to strengthening democracy, political parties, and election monitoring. In this period, she gained experience in working with local and regional governments. Later, she was chief manager of “Rímac Renace”, an urban renewal project, with social inclusion, citizen’s participation and civic culture, promoted by PNUD.
Nowadays she is the General Coordinator of the citizen observatory Lima Cómo Vamos (Lima how is going?) (www.limacomovamos.org). At the observatory, is responsible for the publication of two annual reports that monitor the quality of life of the inhabitants of the city, measuring perception and governance indicators. She hosts a radio programme with the same name: “Lima Cómo Vamos”, which airs on one of the most important radios in the country.
As she specializes in urban phenomenon and sustainable mobility, she has published numerous articles and participated as guest speaker at several national and international forums and conferences.
