Schneider Electric Joins NewCities as Enterprise Member

- Schneider Electric also recognized as Partner of organization’s Greenfield Cities Alliance, a global network of the world’s most important newly built cities
Montréal, Canada – May 2, 2018. The NewCities Foundation today welcomed Schneider Electric as its latest Enterprise Member. Schneider Electric is a global leader in the digital transformation of energy management and automation. The company joins the Foundation’s growing roster of innovative public and private entities around the world dedicated to driving positive change in cities, large and small.
Caspar Herzberg, President of Schneider Electric Middle East and Africa, also joins NewCities’ Board of Trustees. Mr. Herzberg holds a wealth of experience, spanning more than two decades in the industry. He is widely considered one of the leading thinkers on global smart cities. The Board provides strategic guidance and support on the Foundation’s projects and is composed of recognized global leaders from the public, private, and academic sectors.
