The Community Solutions Network is a program of Future Cities Canada funded by Infrastructure Canada to run alongside the Smart Cities Challenge. As the program lead, Evergreen is working with OpenNorth and partners to provide the guidance communities need to build internal capacity and navigate the smart cities landscape.
Under this project, Evergreen and OpenNorth, in partnership with NewCities and Open Contracting Partnership, are organizing an Idea Camp in Montreal on October 8, 2019.
The event will gather professionals working in municipalities across Quebec, as well as experts in open contracting, in order to share challenges and opportunities related to procurement policies, particularly in regard to procuring technological solutions.

Le Réseau de solutions pour les communautés est un programme de Villes d’avenir Canada financé par Infrastructure Canada et mené en parallèle avec le Défi Villes Intelligentes. En tant qu’entité responsable du projet, Evergreen travaille avec NordOuvert et d’autres partenaires afin d’offrir aux communautés le soutien nécessaire pour renforcer leurs capacités internes et explorer le domaine des villes intelligentes.
Dans le cadre de ce projet, Evergreen et NordOuvert, en partenariat avec NewCities et Open Contracting Partnership, organisent un Camp Collaboratif à Montréal le 8 octobre 2019.
L’événement réunira des professionnels travaillant dans des municipalités du Québec, ainsi que des experts en approvisionnement ouvert, afin d’échanger sur les défis et opportunités liés aux politiques d’approvisionnement, notamment en matière d’acquisition de solutions technologiques.
